Battle Fantasia is both retro and modern, opting for a classic 2-D fighting system while dressing everything up with enhanced graphics, animation, and gameplay. Like Guilty Gear, Battle Fantasia features lively and very distinctive anime-inspired character designs. Players can play as an oversize viking, a small boy with a large sword and a pet dragon, a magic-wielding rabbit, a pirate, and other imaginative characters from a medieval fantasy world. Battle Fantasia offers both a versus mode and a challenging story mode, with a many characters, special moves, and surprises to unlock.
