Sequel to one of the best selling games of 2005 (Jump Super Stars), Jump! Ultimate Stars will draw on 40 Shonen Jump! series, both past and currently running, and will feature a mind-boggling 300 characters. The properties incorporated into the game range from internationally famous action series such as Dragonball Z and One Piece to comedy titles like Kochikame and Dr. Slump.

Players will be able to connect with the Wi-Fi feature for head-to-head matchups. According to Famitsu, the game will feature signature moves for each character, items, and complex stages, which sometimes include areas that can be reached only by breaking down walls.
